Surrealist Art from the Dark Subconscious of D.H. Covey 

 

 

Biography

D.H. Covey has produced art for over 40 years. He has a B.F.A from Maryland Institute of Fine Arts. His body of work includes full scale paintings, sculptures, motion picture storyboards, and conceptual art.

 

 He moved to Southern California in 1997 to work on the first of many movies. He does story boards, design and fabrication. 

He has recently contribuytes to the

H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and Cthulucon in Portland, Or an L.A.

 

His portfolio spans original artwork in oils, acrylic, and mixed media. His specialty is surrealistic paintings with custom twisted wood frames.

 

He lives with his wife of 30 years, Deby, daughter and graphic designer, Michelle and his son Adam, an Engineering student at Cal Poly Pomona. They live in the Los Angeles area. His work can be found at various events along the west coast.
